Mentoring
is the goal of our children’s ministry. A nursery is provided
during regularly scheduled meeting times which is staffed by competent
and caring adults. On Wednesday nights our children attend age and
gender appropriate meetings. These groups focus on activities geared
to their development into young men and women. The children meet
together for song time and a message from the Bible. Then the groups
split up for their specialized programs.
On
Sunday mornings, during the Worship Service, one of the men invites
the children up front and teaches an object lesson during what we
term "Young thoughts". Of course, he talks loud
enough that the "children of all ages" can hear too!
